Thank you for visiting the Troy Animal Control page. The City of Troy provides animal services for our citizens. The department is comprised of one part-time fully licensed animal control officer. The animal control officer has the authority to enforce all ordinances in the city pertaining to animals, which includes the issuance of citations for those who are in violation of local city ordinances or state law. 

Animal Control services are available Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm. All impounded animals are taken to the Temple Animal Shelter, located at 620 Mama Dog Circle in Temple, Texas. You can check the following website to see of your dog or cat has been impounded.
